This course is designed for upper elementary students to develop thoughtful, organized, and expressive narrative writing. Students will analyze personal experiences to uncover meaningful patterns and explore how to convey these ideas through structure, detail, and voice. Over the course of seven sessions, students will:

1. Discover Personal Themes
Reflect on life events to identify recurring ideas, then map them into timelines to prepare for narrative writing.

2. Strengthen Story Structure & Craft
Learn how to clarify time shifts, develop setting and emotion, and link key story moments back to a central theme.

3. Revise, Edit, and Polish for Publication
Through peer review, color-coding techniques, and style editing, students will refine their writing for clarity, structure, and expressive impact.
